How it works
My new pricing model is pretty simple: I charge a fixed or base price depending on the commission type, and offer upgrades for $40 per additional hour spent if so desired.
Payment can be made through Venmo (preferred, less fees for me), Zelle or Paypal.
How this benefits the artist
By adopting this model, I can ensure I'm being paid a livable wage for hours spent and can comfortably pay my taxes and overhead as a freelance artist.
How this benefits You
Because you are paying a fixed or base price plus the option to upgrade at $40 per additional hour spent, the quality and scope of the finished piece will always be consistent. You can also add on additional time for revisions or further rendering at any time, even after the piece is completed. For example, if you purchased a speed-paint a month ago but decide you want more details or more refined rendering, you can contact me to tack on an additional, say, 2 hours to the piece to really make it pop. I will only charge for revisions that are superfluous, like a new pose, expression or background. If I messed up your characters design or what you clearly asked for, that's on me and I will fix it free of charge!
Finally, this type of model fosters extensive communication. We will discuss the exact scope of the work before any payment is sent, so that everyone's happy and on the same exact page.

FAQ
What is the full commission process? :: All commissions quoted under $100 need to be paid upfront before any work can be done. All commissions over $100 will need to be paid after an approved conceptual sketch. Please be aware that asking me to complete many 'options' or variations on a concept will eat into the time you've been quoted. Based on my commission examples, you will fill out the form with the desired commission type and the hours you'd like me to spend on it according to your budget. After reviewing your request, I will give you a final quote and invoice. If I don't think I can complete your commission in the hours allotted, I will contact you so we can work out a solution. I will work on the commission for that exact amount of time; how refined or rendered it ends up being depends on many factors such as whether or not there's a background, multiple characters, complex character designs etc. It's all a matter of give and take depending on your budget and what you want included. You can always tack on additional time/hours to an already completed piece! Just wait for a commission slot to be open. Any additional hours beyond the original quote/invoice will be billed separately.
How are you tracking the time you spend on drawing? :: I am using Clockify.me to time-track; at any time you can request a full report on the time spent on your piece so you can see when it was worked on and for how long etc!
Should I pay using Venmo, Zelle or Paypal? :: If you can, I'd highly prefer payments over Venmo or Zelle especially for larger-scale pieces. They charge me much less in fees than Paypal, but if that's what you're most comfortable with I'm happy to oblige. Paypal charges a 3% processing fee, so if you're feeling generous, you can tip the difference so I don't have to eat the fee. :)
Can I order a NSFW commission? :: Yes! I am now offering NSFW art at a +30% markup of the final price for your commission. Please note I will not do: gross/niche fetish content or gore. Blood and bruising is fine! Artistic nudity does NOT count as NSFW (at least, not for an additional markup) -- only requests featuring explicit content will receive the markup.
